Moab Utah – What an adventure !

Well, it is not a land rover post, but we saw few on Moab 🙂

We rented a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with 37″ tires. what a beast! for someone who usually drives a 31″ disco with an auto transmission and a 300tdi engine it was an outstanding experience to drive the V6 3.6 Jeep and feel how it accelerates on the free road and how it crawls on the rocks.

We rented it from “Twisted Jeeps” in Moab, cost was ~500 usd/day with 3 drivers (insurance was ~$50/day for each driver).

Moab Hell Revenge: crazy hills, amazing views, it is one of the most famous 4×4 trails in the world, when you’ll get there you will understand why.

Metal Masher: amazing offroad trail , great views and fun technical drive. to make it even more interesting, the transmission overheated during the trail and we had to get to the top while it is in “Limp Mode”. well, it did get to the top…
